Karen Oakley has been embellishing surfaces as a decorative painter for over seventeen years. She was educated in both North Carolina and at The Finishing School in New York City.
Working in beautiful homes up and down the coast of New England, her work has been featured in both Traditional Home and Ink Magazines. Karen has painted rooms in five designer showhouses in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Karen’s wide range of decorative finishes includes: glazing, colorwashing, marbling, tortoise shell, limestone, tuscan plaster, venetian plaster, woodgraining, stenciling, botanical murals and many more painted effects to enhance the beauty of your home.
